Reports suggest that Manchester United are eyeing a move for Real Madrid attacker Vinicius Junior in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Under SIR JIM RATCLIFFE Management, Manchester United is reportedly compiling a list of potential replacements for Kylian Mbappe, who is rumored to be heading to Real Madrid. Renowned football journalist David Ornstein has hinted at Mbappe’s potential move to the Spanish club, a claim supported by a report from MARCA stating that terms have already been agreed upon.
Initially, Man United had shown interest in AC Milan’s Rafael Leao for the summer transfer window. However, according to Todofichajes, they are now considering a €150 million bid for Brazilian winger Vinicius Junior.
Vinicius joined Real Madrid from Flamengo in July 2018 and has since amassed 251 appearances for the club, scoring 74 goals and providing 71 assists. The 23-year-old has secured two La Liga titles, two FIFA World Club Cups, and a UEFA Champions League trophy with Real Madrid. Reportedly, Vinicius has a release clause of €1 billion.
In another development, Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool has entered the race alongside PSG to acquire Porto midfielder Alan Varela in the upcoming summer transfer window, according to TEAMtalk. Last summer, Liverpool underwent a midfield overhaul with the signings of Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, Wataru Endo, and Ryan Gravenberch.
Alan Varela, who joined Porto from Boca Juniors in August 2023, has made 30 appearances for the Portuguese side, contributing two goals and two assists. His standout performances in the Portuguese league have attracted interest from PSG and Liverpool. The 22-year-old reportedly has a release clause of £60 million.
