“The problem was started with Erik ten Hag. I told him what was going onnbut he didn’t listen. Now am about loose my career. Am not sure if I will player football again because of him”-Manchester United’s long-term absentee finally breaks silence as he exposes what the club and Erik ten Hag did to him.

It’s highly improbable that Tyrell Malacia will feature for Manchester United this season, as he has been sidelined with an injury since the final day of the 2022/2023 Premier League season.

The absence of the left-back has posed significant challenges throughout the current campaign, particularly considering Luke Shaw’s own injury struggles.

Consequently, Diogo Dalot, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and sometimes Sofyan Amrabat have been required to fill in on the left flank, stepping out of their usual roles.

Malacia, aged 24, was the first signing made by Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford. While he made sporadic appearances in his debut season, he provided valuable squad depth.

Unfortunately, Malacia’s recovery has taken longer than anticipated due to the need for two separate surgeries to address damaged cartilage meniscus in his knee, as reported by Mail Sport. Despite this setback, Malacia has been diligently working on his rehabilitation at Carrington and aims to return for the start of the 2024/2025 campaign.

Furthermore, Mail dismissed speculations regarding the defender’s mental health struggles alongside his physical injury as inaccurate. Nevertheless, the prolonged absence undoubtedly presents its share of psychological challenges for Malacia.
