Yet, former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry believes he understands the reasoning behind it. Speaking to CBS Sports, Henry commended Real Madrid for their adeptness in assembling a team that retains some seasoned players to mentor the younger generation.

Henry suggested that if Kylian Mbappe were to join Real Madrid, they would possess a squad capable of dominating both European and domestic competitions for several years due to the youthful talent at their disposal. He credited Real Madrid for knowing precisely when to part ways with players, citing examples like Cristiano Ronaldo, Mesut Ozil, and Varane, the latter of whom he speculated had more to do with a knee issue.

The decision to part ways with Casemiro, the youngest among the trio of midfield stalwarts alongside Luka Modric and Toni Kroos, might seem puzzling at first glance.
