MANCHESTER United fans reportedly want Mason greenwood to return following his loan spell at Getafe.The winger, 22, scored twice for his new Spanish club as they thrashed minnows Tardienta on Wednesday night.

He’s just good tbh.

“Better than every forward in Man United’s squad currently. Mason should be back.”A third added: “Do you know what is technically missing in this ten Hag squad? Mason Greenwood.”But others were reluctant on the idea, saying he should be “nowhere near United”.Greenwood was arrested arrested in January last year following charges of attempted rape, assault and coercive control.

He was later charged with the offences, before the case was dropped by the Crown Prosecution Service in February.United subsequently launched an internal probe, before deciding that Greenwood could not continue his career at Old Trafford.He joined Getafe on hours before the end of the summer transfer window deadline and has now scored three goals in eight appearances.A source told SunSport he is hoping to stay at the club for the forseeable future.

They added: “The players and fans have all given him a welcome he could only have dreamed of.“He really feared his career was over. Now he’s just so happy and wants to carry on playing and not think too far ahead.”
