“I am happy that Erik ten Hag wants to sign him at Manchester United and it makeds me happy knowing that I might play with him at Old Trafford afte the EUROS. Everybody loves him because he plays like Cristiano Ronaldo. He never gets tired The good thing is that Erik Ten Hag coach him before at Ajax when he was still very young”-Bruno Fernandes praises his “electric” Portugal teammates who the team refers to as the “NEXT RONALDO” due to his style of play.

Bruno Fernandes has praised his Portuguese international teammate Francisco Conceição, suggesting he would be an ideal fit at Manchester United.

After a strong end to last season with Manchester United, Bruno Fernandes began his preparations for the 2024 European Championship by scoring two goals against Finland on Tuesday evening.

Fernandes, who came on at halftime along with club teammate Diogo Dalot, scored a stunning goal from outside the box to give Portugal a 3-0 lead, followed by a composed finish for their fourth and final goal.

Post-match, the United captain lauded 21-year-old right winger Francisco Conceição, who assisted both of his goals.

“Francisco had a very good game; he is an electric player, and without the ball, he works a lot,” Fernandes told Mais Futebo. “In reacting to loss, he is very quick and well-positioned. You can see that he was trained by his father, who cares a lot about these details. We want players who can provide different qualities so we can be complete as a group.”

Fernandes referred to Conceição’s father, Sérgio Conceição, the current manager of FC Porto, where Francisco has been outstanding this season, with eight goals and eight assists in 43 appearances.

Valued at just under £13 million by Transfermarkt, Conceição would be a perfect signing for United. With the potential sales of Antony and Facundo Pellistri this summer, United will need a right winger to compete with Amad Diallo.

Conceição, like Amad, is left-footed and excels at providing assists as well as scoring goals. This trait would complement players such as Rasmus Højlund and Fernandes, who play centrally.
