FINALLY: Man United has finally decided who will return at the club between Mason Greenwood and Jadon Sancho”-Man Utd makes transfer decision’ between Mason Greenwood and Jadon Sancho as asking price emerges

Manchester United have reportedly reached a crucial decision regarding Mason Greenwood’s future beyond the upcoming summer.

Greenwood embarked on a season-long loan to Spanish La Liga outfit Getafe in August, shortly after United concluded their internal investigation into his conduct. Following this inquiry, it was determined that Greenwood would depart the club through mutual agreement.

The 22-year-old had faced suspension by United in January 2022 following allegations of rape and assault, which led to charges in October of the same year. However, these charges were later dropped by the Crown Prosecution Service in February, citing insufficient evidence.

Recently, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, a new minority owner of United, hinted at a potential reassessment of Greenwood’s situation, emphasizing the importance of understanding facts over hype before reaching a fair decision based on values.

As Greenwood nears the end of his loan spell at Getafe, where he has netted six goals in 25 appearances, United’s stance on his future remains uncertain. According to ESPN, the club has not yet determined whether to retain him, sell him, or loan him out again for the following season. However, it’s reported that United is disinclined towards a permanent transfer that falls significantly below their valuation, preferring a sale as the preferred option.

Various reports have linked Greenwood with moves to clubs like Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, with United’s asking price ranging between £17 and £30 million. Additionally, while another loan deal remains a possibility, Greenwood’s contract with United is set to expire at the end of the following season, with an optional 12-month extension yet to be triggered by the club.
