Pogba Weighing His Next Move as Season Ends

With the season coming to a close, Paul Pogba faces a limited set of options for his next club. Due to transfer window restrictions, his immediate choices are confined to Major League Soccer (MLS) or Japan’s J1 League.

However, the 31-year-old remains focused on securing a move back to one of Europe’s top leagues, ideally to a club competing in the Champions League or Europa League. His ultimate ambition is to earn a place in France’s 2026 World Cup squad, and he believes playing at the highest level in Europe will maximize his chances.

Pogba has already attracted interest from several clubs, including Marseille, Fiorentina, and unnamed LaLiga sides. He has, however, rejected offers from the Saudi Pro League and Brazil’s Serie A, signaling his intent to compete at an elite level.

During his suspension, Pogba maintained his fitness by working with a personal trainer and playing in informal matches in Miami, where he has been residing with his family. Now free to train and compete professionally again, he is carefully considering his next step before making a final decision on his future.
