“Immediately Erik Ten Hag changed him, we started losing possession. We could have won Crystal Palace today if wasn’t subbed off.”-United fans think ‘game completely changed’ after one Erik ten Hag decision in Crystal Palace draw.

**Manchester United Fans Frustrated by Erik ten Hag’s Key Substitution in Crystal Palace Draw**

Manchester United fans believe a pivotal decision by manager Erik ten Hag altered the outcome of their match against Crystal Palace. The Red Devils were unable to secure back-to-back Premier League victories, being held to a 0-0 draw by a resilient Palace side at Selhurst Park on Saturday evening.

Despite United dominating possession and creating numerous chances, they failed to find the back of the net. Palace also had opportunities, with Eberechi Eze missing two golden chances to steal the win for Oliver Glasner’s side.

In an attempt to change the game, Ten Hag made several second-half substitutions, introducing Marcus Rashford, Manuel Ugarte, and Rasmus Højlund in place of Joshua Zirkzee, Christian Eriksen, and Amad Diallo.

However, the decision to take off Dutch forward Zirkzee did not sit well with United fans, who voiced their displeasure on social media.

One fan commented, “Shouldn’t have taken off Zirkzee… we lost that link as soon as he left.” Another added, “Zirkzee shouldn’t have gone off… even Amad was creating chances. Wrong subs totally.”

Another frustrated fan tweeted, “Zirkzee should have stayed on, the game changed after he went off,” while a fourth echoed, “Subs have not worked at all today. Creative technical players like Zirkzee, Amad, Eriksen who can move the ball rapidly, out for Rashford, Højlund, and Ugarte.”

A fifth supporter added, “Removing Zirkzee and Amad has effectively cancelled all our attack!” One more fan remarked, “Zirkzee being brought off was damning. He links play and maintains attacks without losing possession, a crucial skill for breaking down a deep defense.”

After the match, former Liverpool and Tottenham midfielder Jamie Redknapp weighed in on Sky Sports, saying: “When you have that level of domination, you have to capitalize. The subs didn’t do enough, and United will be disappointed.”

As a result of the draw, Manchester United find themselves in 11th place in the Premier League, having collected just seven points from their first five matches.
