However, it remains uncertain whether that pre-season preparation will benefit United or another club. According to Goal, Barcelona has entered the competition to sign Rashford from Manchester United this summer.

The Spanish giants are on the verge of finalizing the departure of midfielder Ilkay Gundogan, who is set to rejoin Manchester City just a year after leaving them on a free transfer. This move could help raise funds for new signings, although reports suggest the Gundogan deal is partly necessary to balance the books following a substantial €57 million investment in RB Leipzig midfielder Dani Olmo.

Goal claims that Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has personally requested the signing of Rashford, expressing a desire for a left winger who can both dribble and shoot.
