Manchester United were heavily linked with Jean-Clair Todibo in the summer and even made an offer to sign him.However, the player decided to stay in France with Nice. Now, reports indicate that he is ready to move to the next level and Man Utd are pushing to finally sign him in January.
According to a story covered by Sport, for the winter transfer window, United’s big objective is to secure the signing of Todibo.
The Catalan media outlet claim the 23-year-old central defender is ready to move to a top European club and that is where the Red Devils come into the picture. Todibo has been in fantastic form for Nice, who are just a point behind league leaders and reigning champions, Paris Saint-Germain, after twelve games. The Les Aiglons have the best defensive record, only conceded four goals in the Ligue 1 and the French international has been rock solid at the back.
In eleven league starts, he has helped the team keep no fewer than nine clean sheets and it is not surprising that Man Utd are pushing to sign him.
