Incoming Manchester United minority owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe is reportedly ‘open to offers’ for midfielder Casemiro in January.Ineos founder Ratcliffe is close to finalising a deal which will see him take a 25 per cent stake in the club.Ratcliffe will take control of the sporting department and is ready for an extensive overhaul following a decade of mismanagement at Old Trafford.Per talkSPORT, he’s willing to cash in on Casemiro, with clubs from Saudi Arabia interested.

Casemiro joined United from Real Madrid in a £60 million deal in 2022 after manager Erik ten Hag failed to land top transfer target Frenkie de Jong.The Brazil international arrived with experience to his name, including five Champions League titles from his time in Spain.Despite a solid first season, Casemiro has struggled this term. He was sent off in a 3-2 defeat to Galatasaray in the Champions League in October and looks to have lost a yard of pace.

He’s currently out with a hamstring injury and isn’t expected to return until after Christmas.

Now aged 31, Casemiro’s whopping £350,000-per-week wages and limited resale value means United need to act fast if they want to recoup the fee they paid 16 months ago.Ratcliffe is ready to approve Casemiro’s departure to fund a rebuild for Ten Hag.
