“I have played with him. He has different qualities and he is a type of player who will any team he face and cause them problems”-Kyle Walker highlights ‘dangerous’ Manchester United player ahead of derby.

Kyle Walker and his Manchester City teammates will travel to Old Trafford on Sunday to face a vulnerable Manchester United side. The Reds are yet to kickstart their season performance-wise, although they are currently on a three-game win streak. Yet, each victory felt like it was more dramatic and difficult than needed.Erik ten Hag’s men will be going into the game as clear underdogs but there is still a chance that they come out on top.

Last term, it was a 2-1 win at the Theatre of Dreams in the Manchester derby for United. But they will need to be ruthless in front of goal – something that has been absent so far this campaign.

Marcus Rashford in particular has been misfiring this term, with only one goal so far. His 30-goal season during 2022/23 was complemented by grabbing the winning goal in that Old Trafford derby.Whilst he is going through a difficult spell of form, Rashford has been labelled as the danger man by City full-back Kyle Walker.Speaking before the Manchester derby, Walker said: “Marcus has shown over the years that he’s the sort of player who can create problems for any side if they don’t match him. He’s been important for United and England since he was a teenager because of the threat he offers to any team he’s in.“He’s got a lot of different qualities. We know he can be dangerous at the weekend.”

Walker added that Pep Guardiola’s side are not looking beyond this Manchester derby and want to give their fans a memorable afternoon at Old Trafford after losing there last term.“We want to win the game because of what it means and because, ultimately, it will help us in trying to win the Premier League again. We don’t need to think beyond that, we’ve had some great games against them in recent years and our focus is on giving the fans something to enjoy again.”
