Man United ready to offer £21m to hijack Roma’s move for Brazilian striker, After recent events, the Red Devils’ transfer strategy has changed.

A lot has been happening for the Red Devils in the past few weeks, and this has greatly affected the club’s transfer strategy for the remainder of this summer’s transfer window.

With the club officially making the decision to axe Mason Greenwood, ten Hag has changed his main transfer target to a striker, according to The Sun.

The Red Devils invested a lot in Rasmus Hojlund, but he has been carrying an injury that could push back his debut and the club seem to want to strengthen in that area. So, instead of going after much-needed midfielders and/or defenders, we could see the club bring in another striker. And according to Gazetta Dello Sport via Sport Witness, Manchester United are going after Brazilian forward Marcos Leonardo. This striker is currently at Santos in Brazil and has already gained interest as a transfer target for AS Roma.

Manchester United have reportedly swooped in and are ready to offer over £21 million for the player.

It’s a pretty bold claim since the club hasn’t seemed to want to spend too much recently since securing the signature of Hojlund. But when desperation strikes, we might see this deal going through before the deadline day.
