Manchester United reportedly have a strong interest in signing Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount this summer.
Man United want to bolster their midfield as their manager Erik ten Hag, continues the rebuild at Old Trafford.
According to The Athletic, the Red Devils are among the clubs keen on signing Mount in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Man United are aware of Mount’s contract talks with Chelsea stalling and the Blues’ willingness to sell players who are in the final year of their deals at Stamford Bridge.
Mount, 24, is among the players who will enter the final 12 months of his contract at Chelsea in the summer and thus could be sold to obtain a transfer fee.
However, Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly reportedly held positive talks with the England international recently to try and keep him at the club beyond the summer.
The report added that Mount is not the only player on Man United’s radar as Marcel Sabitzer and Brighton stars Alexis Mac Allister and Moises Caicedo are also targets for the club.
