Adding to the setback, Arsenal have received another blow with the unexpected departure of their sporting director and key Arteta ally, Edu. According to the *Daily Mail*, the Brazilian has decided to leave the club after discussions with senior management, though the specific reasons behind his decision remain unclear. Edu, who rejoined Arsenal in 2019 after being part of their Invincibles squad, is credited with driving significant changes at the Emirates. His relationship with Arteta has been crucial; he played a role in bringing Arteta on board as manager in December 2019.
