“OH MY GOD…Manchester United just signed a demon in that midfield. He is far better than Ngolo Kante and might be the best defensive midfielder in the Premier League soon”-FANS SHOCKED as Video Compilation of Manuel Ugarte’s performance on Uruguay duty goes viral ahead of Man Utd debut

A compilation of Manuel Ugarte’s impressive performance for Uruguay against Venezuela has gone viral, sparking excitement ahead of his potential debut for Manchester United.

Ugarte joined Manchester United from Paris Saint-Germain in a £50.7 million transfer this summer. However, he wasn’t registered in time to feature in United’s 3-0 defeat to Liverpool. Now, with the Premier League set to resume, fans are eager to see the midfielder in action, especially in the upcoming clash against Southampton.

During Uruguay’s recent World Cup qualifier, Ugarte played the full 90 minutes, showcasing his skills and commanding presence in midfield. His strong display, including his impressive passing range, has caught the attention of United supporters who are now calling for him to start at St Mary’s Stadium.

One fan on X (formerly Twitter) wrote: “Time to start the business vs Southampton. Anything else we have in his position is already worse, whether he’s adapted or not.” Another added: “People underestimate his ability on the ball. If he can consistently find a red shirt, he’s already an upgrade.”

Others echoed the excitement: “Debut against Southampton incoming,” wrote one fan, while another commented, “Ugarte’s passing is what impresses me most. Incredible.”

Despite the enthusiasm, Erik ten Hag has suggested Ugarte may need time to build his fitness before making his debut. “Manuel Ugarte hasn’t played any minutes so far this season,” Ten Hag explained. “He needs to build his fitness and then integrate into the team. I’m sure he’ll be an important player, but it may take a few weeks, maybe even months.”

Ugarte, who made 37 appearances for PSG last season, has yet to play a match this campaign. Whether he will be included in the squad against Southampton remains to be seen, but anticipation continues to grow among United fans.
