“He was the reason I left the club and refused to play. It’s not the coach. It’s not the fans. I could not stay at the club after what he did. And he is still at the club doing it to ther other players.”-BREAKING NEWS: Marcus Rashford have finally broken silence after revealing to the fans why he really left Manchester United after many years at the club

Manchester United Set New Asking Price for Marcus Rashford Amid Aston Villa Revival

Manchester United have adjusted their asking price for Marcus Rashford following his resurgence at Aston Villa, which has earned him a recall to the England squad.

Rashford, who joined Villa on loan in January after being frozen out at United by new manager Rúben Amorim, has impressed under Unai Emery. While he has yet to find the net for Villa, he has registered four assists and looked sharp and influential whenever called upon.

His form has not gone unnoticed, with Thomas Tuchel selecting him for his first England squad, putting Rashford in line to make his first appearance for the Three Lions in nearly a year.

United Set to Increase Rashford’s Price Tag

It appears increasingly unlikely that Rashford will play for Manchester United again, and reports suggest that Aston Villa have an option to buy him permanently for £40 million. Initially, United’s valuation of Rashford had dropped significantly, leaving many fans surprised at the low figure.

However, with his improved form and international recall, United are now poised to increase their asking price, especially with clubs like Barcelona and Bayern Munich also monitoring the situation.

Former United chief scout Mick Brown believes United are now in a position to demand a significantly higher fee:

“Manchester United are going to demand a high fee for him. Their asking price has increased after he was recalled into the England squad.

“I said when he went to Villa that it would be a win-win-win situation for all three parties, and that has been proven already. Villa have benefited from his performances, Rashford has shown what he can do, and now United can benefit from his sale.”

“It looked like United would have to sell him on the cheap, but his value has only gone up. With interest from Villa and top European clubs, they can now drive up his asking price.”

How Much Could United Get for Rashford?

Having made 426 appearances and scored 138 goals for his boyhood club, Rashford was once valued at £100 million, especially after his 30-goal season in 2022/23. However, his recent struggles saw that valuation drop significantly.

While United are unlikely to fetch £100 million, the latest figures from Transfermarkt value Rashford at €55 million (£47m), suggesting that his price tag could climb even higher if he continues his strong form.

With Villa, Barcelona, and Bayern Munich all showing interest, United could be set for a big-money sale in the summer.
