Bacary Sagna Suggests Paul Pogba Could Make Sensational Manchester United Return Under Ruben Amorim
Former Arsenal and Manchester City defender Bacary Sagna has hinted that Paul Pogba may welcome the chance to rejoin Manchester United for a third stint, particularly under the guidance of the club’s current manager, Ruben Amorim.
The 31-year-old French midfielder, instrumental in France’s 2018 World Cup triumph, finds himself at a career crossroads after parting ways with Juventus earlier this month. Pogba’s second spell in Turin was brief and tumultuous, with only 12 appearances before a doping scandal derailed his progress.
In September 2023, Pogba was handed a four-year suspension for testing positive for a banned substance. However, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) reduced the ban to 18 months, deeming the incident unintentional. This ruling allows Pogba to return to training in January 2024 and competitive football by March.

Sagna, who shared the pitch with Pogba for the French national team, believes Old Trafford could be the perfect destination for the midfielder to reignite his career. Speaking to Mega Dice, Sagna said:
