He was substituted in the 56th minute for Rasmus Højlund, who went on to score in United’s comeback win in Czechia.

Amorim has also left Alejandro Garnacho out of the 18-man squad. The Argentine winger, who played nine minutes as a substitute against Viktoria Plzen, has been a consistent presence in United’s league campaign so far. Meanwhile, Rasmus Højlund, who impressed with a brace off the bench in midweek, is one of four changes to the starting XI for Sunday’s derby.
