Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville doesn’t see Liverpool or Chelsea competing for the Premier League title this season. After Liverpool’s 2-1 win over Chelsea at Anfield, Neville expressed that he believes only Arsenal have a realistic chance of challenging Manchester City:
“Would these two teams [Liverpool and Chelsea] win the title? I don’t think so. What Liverpool are doing defensively is interesting, but I’d like to reassess at Christmas. I still think they’re short. Chelsea are definitely short, they’re not going to win the league. I think Arsenal are the only team that can take on City. But you can’t afford to fall too many points behind.”

Liverpool’s victory over Chelsea saw them reclaim first place from Manchester City, who had temporarily moved to the top following their last-minute win over Wolves. Arsenal’s 2-0 defeat to Bournemouth has left them three points behind City.
**City remain title favourites**
While the serious injury to Rodri initially saw many back Arsenal for the title, this weekend’s results shifted the odds. After their loss, Arsenal are now second favourites behind City, who are priced as short as 5/4 to win the league.
Despite topping the table, Liverpool are still considered outsiders, with odds of 11/4. Chelsea, after their defeat to Liverpool, have seen their title chances diminish, now priced at over 20/1, as they trail by seven points.
