Manchester United fans are outraged by the club’s reported £50 million asking price for Alejandro Garnacho, amid interest from two European giants.
Garnacho, who made 50 appearances across all competitions last season and scored 10 goals, has seen limited game time this season, with most of his 10 appearances coming off the bench. His reduced playing time has fueled rumors of a fallout with manager Erik ten Hag, especially after some intriguing social media activity from the player.
This situation has caught the attention of *Barcelona* and *Juventus*, who are reportedly monitoring the winger’s situation, according to *The Sun*. Both clubs could be preparing bids next summer.
However, Manchester United’s £50 million valuation of Garnacho has shocked fans, with many believing the 20-year-old is worth significantly more in today’s transfer market.
One fan on X (formerly Twitter) wrote: “As if £50m would be enough, he’s a £75m minimum player. With his age, probably closer to £85m.”
Another said: “What? Only £50 million??”
A third added: “Garnacho is worth more than £50m.”

Given Garnacho’s age and his contributions to United, many fans believe £50 million is far too low a figure for a player of his potential.
The Argentine winger joined United from Atletico Madrid’s youth team for £420,000 in October 2020, and has since risen through the ranks, making 96 first-team appearances and scoring 19 goals.
