“This players don’t deserve to player for any team in the world. How did Erik ten Hag start this horrible players? We have better replacements for God’s sake”-Man Utd fans fumes as they demand two players who must be dropped after horrible performance against Porto and tell Erik ten Hag who should replace them

Manchester United fans are calling for two players to be dropped after a disastrous defensive display in the 3-3 Europa League draw against Porto.

United had a strong start, going 2-0 up within 20 minutes thanks to goals from Marcus Rashford and Rasmus Hojlund. However, Porto fought back, with Pepe reducing the deficit before 20-year-old striker Samu Omorodion scored twice, completing a stunning comeback.

Omorodion, formerly of Atletico Madrid, dominated United’s defense, particularly targeting Lisandro Martinez and Matthijs de Ligt. The pair, who had seemed to solidify themselves as Erik ten Hag’s first-choice center-back duo earlier in the season, struggled throughout the match at the Estadio do Dragao.

Their poor performance led to both being substituted in the 77th minute, with United trailing 3-2. Harry Maguire and Jonny Evans replaced them, and it was Maguire who salvaged a point with a stoppage-time equalizer. Now, fans are demanding changes in the backline, especially with the anticipated return of £52 million summer signing Leny Yoro from injury.

One fan said, “Chuckle brothers to start at Villa Park on Sunday. Drop De Ligt & Martinez.”

Another echoed the sentiment: “De Ligt cannot start on Sunday. Martinez will be lucky to start.”

A third simply commented, “Get Leny Yoro back, man.”

A fourth added: “Leny Yoro can’t come back soon enough. First choice pairing should be him and Maguire until Martinez and De Ligt get their s**t together.”

And another fan wrote, “I need me a Leny Yoro and Harry Maguire partnership.”

The pressure is mounting on Ten Hag to rethink his defensive options ahead of their next Premier League fixture.
