“They want to do everything to sign him before January. He might be playing for Real Madrid from next season. Erik ten Hag is just making these players to look bad”-Real Madrid ‘have agreed to replace their club Legend with Manchester United player who has been very consistent this season.

Real Madrid have set their sights on a Manchester United star as an alternative target to bolster their right-back position if a move for a Liverpool player doesn’t materialize.

Los Blancos, considered one of the best teams in Europe, dominated both La Liga and the Champions League last season. Over the summer, they secured the long-anticipated signing of Kylian Mbappé, who joined the club on a free transfer after his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expired. Mbappé committed to a five-year deal under Carlo Ancelotti.

Despite their strong squad, Real Madrid are looking to strengthen their right-back options, as their current choices—Dani Carvajal and Lucas Vázquez—are both in their early 30s. This has prompted the club to seek younger alternatives for the position.

Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold tops their list. His contract with Liverpool expires in the summer of 2025, and while he may still sign an extension, the prospect of joining Real Madrid could be tempting for the England international.

Should a move for Alexander-Arnold not come to fruition, Real Madrid have a backup plan: Manchester United’s Diogo Dalot. According to Spanish outlet *Fichajes*, Dalot is next on Real’s radar.

Dalot has become a key player under Erik ten Hag since joining United in 2018 under former manager Jose Mourinho. He has made 165 appearances for the club, scoring six goals across all competitions. At 25, the Portuguese international offers an appealing blend of youth and experience, making him a strong candidate for Real’s right-back role.

Dalot’s contract with United runs until the summer of 2028, with an option for an additional year. This means United are under no immediate pressure to sell, putting them in a strong position to negotiate a high transfer fee. However, the allure of playing for Real Madrid could potentially sway Dalot’s decision should an offer come in from the Spanish giants.
