Manchester United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe aims to offload up to seven more senior players this summer as the club continues its rebuild.

Ratcliffe’s stake in the Premier League club was ratified shortly after the January transfer window, making this summer his first opportunity to add new signings.

The billionaire is working on transfers with CEO Omar Berrada, technical director Jason Wilcox, and sporting director Dan Ashworth.

So far, United have secured two signings: Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna for £36.5 million and Leny Yoro from Lille for an initial £52 million.

Additionally, United have offloaded some high earners, including Raphael Varane and Anthony Martial, and sold Mason Greenwood to Marseille.

However, these might not be the last departures.

ESPN reports that Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelöf, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Scott McTominay, and Christian Eriksen are all out of contract next summer, and United are prepared to listen to offers for all five.

Casemiro, who joined United from Real Madrid in 2022, might also be available amid reported interest from Saudi Arabia.

The seventh player who could move on is Antony. The Brazilian, who joined in the same window as Casemiro, was reportedly considered for a permanent sale earlier this year. United might now entertain a loan if a team is willing to cover his wages.
