He is hungry, he has got desire, and that is a brilliant finish. “You knew straightaway he was at it, the way he is running in behind, particularly for the first goal. It’s all well and good being good in possession, but you need runners, and he is doing that.”

Manchester United have found it very difficult to find space anywhere around the Tottenham box, they’ve had to be efficient and that’s certainly efficient. “There’s just enough room for Rashford, it goes through the legs of the defender and it’s hard for the goalkeeper. I do not think that the 26-year-old Manchester United forward was at his best, but he was certainly a big threat to the Spurs defenders throughout his time on the pitch.Rashford took two shots, had a pass accuracy of 56.3%, took 41 touches, attempted two dribbles, made one clearance, and put in two crosses.In my view, Rashford has to kick on now and has to get consistency back into his game. We know that he has a lot of potential, but he needs to do it week in and week out.
